Seminar and Technical Meetings

Special Events

The Branch offers regular seminars and training courses on range of air quality issues.

The areas covered may be of specific relevance to WA (e.g. air quality management in the Kwinana industrial area) or be of national and international interest (e.g. NEPM implementation, studies of urban pollution and health).

Presenters include representatives of State Government authorities and local industry, and environmental consultants. Interstate or international air pollution experts also participate in Branch events.

Branch Committee meetings are held every two months and provide a forum for the discussion of emerging air quality issues. They also allow CASANZ members from regulatory authorities, industry and the community to meet and discuss issues in an informal environment.
